Southern Electric fans will be pleased to know that sometime in 2007/08 Bachmann will produce a 4-CEP 4 Car EMU - that's the best time line they could give at the moment. As mentioned earlier a Sample 47 with DCC sound was running on there demo layout - there is still some work on the Buffer Beam area to be done but other than that its nearly ready for the production line. The sound was equally impressive - Toot of Horn, 2 toots of Horn, Uncouple/couple idling, starting up, moving way ,brakes more power all included in the sound module (courtesy of 47401at the MRC) - when you hear it you will think how could I have ever lived without sound!!! Again the weather was excellent as was the food provided and we were made very welcome - Top Marks to Bachmann!! ]]> Mon Jul 17 2006 Whitby Jet http://windmilljunction.fotopic.net/c946302.html On Saturday 29th April 2006 a group of 7 boarded the Whitby Jet Railtour at 0530 at Rugby. 37425+37419 hauled the train to York where 37425 dropped onto the back to Top N Tail to Whitby and back to York - where 37419 joined 37425 on the front back to Coventry arriving at 0030 the next day! We returned back to Rugby by Coach - It was a very long Day. This was a great railtour with all the right ingredients - main line running, great traction, bonus Branchline and good weather/company and hassle free Railtour organisation. Verdict 10/10 This collection shows all pictures taken by Jason throughout the day. There were 2 on show 47478 in BR Blue and D1504 in 2 Tone Green - Both looked fantastic and we were told they should be released next year. As usual Bachmann put on a great show with Good Food , Entertainment and Weather! PS - As usual - Please note there may be some slight distortion in the pictures as they were taken through reflective glass - ie the models are not curved!!
