Southern Electric fans will be pleased to know that sometime in 2007/08 Bachmann will produce a 4-CEP 4 Car EMU - that's the best time line they could give at the moment. As mentioned earlier a Sample 47 with DCC sound was running on there demo layout - there is still some work on the Buffer Beam area to be done but other than that its nearly ready for the production line. The sound was equally impressive - Toot of Horn, 2 toots of Horn, Uncouple/couple idling, starting up, moving way ,brakes more power all included in the sound module (courtesy of 47401at the MRC) - when you hear it you will think how could I have ever lived without sound!!! Again the weather was excellent as was the food provided and we were made very welcome - Top Marks to Bachmann!! |
